At forTheodore, we ensure our family’s satisfaction. Each forTheodore piece is meticulously checked for any damages. We take pride in bringing all our home favorites to your door with the best quality. We offer returns for your purchases upon approval. 


Eligibility for Returns, Exchange, or Store Credit

  • Item is purchased at full-price without any discounts and codes 

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed 

  • In original condition (ex: tags and packaging)

  • Free of stains, damage, odor, and hair (animal and human)

  • Refund request initiated by the customer within 14 days of delivery

  • Once our team has approved the customer’s request, item/s are shipped back to us within 7 days of approval, after which the sale is considered final


SALE ITEMS Eligible for Store Credit Only 

  • Unworn

  • Store Credit request initiated by the customer within 14 days of delivery

Gift Returns

  • Must show the original buyer’s order number and name



Not Eligible for Returns, Exchange or Store Credit

  • Items purchased with a BOGO (Buy One, Get One) discount. Due to the condition of this sale, which in its nature is a part of a discount/promo, this sale is not considered part of the return policy eligibility. We can offer store credit instead.

  • Promotional gifts with your purchase are considered final sale 


Refund Process And Fulfillment

To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us via email at customerservice@fortheodore.com


By proceeding, the customer affirms that they have read and agree to all aforementioned terms within this Returns and Exchange Policy, and that the item(s) being returned or exchanged meet the stated eligibility criteria. 


Once items are received back at our warehouse, our team will meticulously inspect each item according to our eligibility criteria mentioned above. This process can take up to 10 business days upon receipt of the item. After approval of your request and we deem that your item/s are eligible for a return, exchange or store credit, our team will reach out to the customer and can expect one of the following:

  • Return and Money-Back Refund:

  • A refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please expect 10-14 business days for the refund to reflect in your bank account. 

  • Exchange 

  • We will complete your request for item change and will ship your item as soon as possible 

  • Store Credit 

  • Store credits are emailed to the customer in the form of a digital gift card. All gift cards will be sent to the original email address associated with the customer's order. 


Digital Gift Cards 

  • Digital gift cards can be used by anyone in your family or friends. Purchases may be used in any style or available items in store during the time of purchase. Store credits can also be a great gift to any of your friends or family members. It’s as simple as sharing your digital code with them! 


Items Returned Past The 14-Day Window

As mentioned above our return policy window, any item returned past the 14-day window is considered final sale. forTheodore reserves the right to refuse any item for return or exchange. We value our customers and their valued support. In our attempt to remedy the situation, our team reserves the right to approve returns as it deems necessary and appropriate.


Refund Policy Updates 

forTheodore reserves the right to modify, amend, or replace any provision of this Refund and Exchange Policy. Such revisions shall become effective immediately upon the posting of the updated policy on our website. The Customer is solely responsible for periodically reviewing this policy for changes. Continued use of our shop following the publication of any modifications shall constitute explicit acceptance of the revised terms.
